Grace, You said in your note to the Guest Book at WWW.SHWEIR.COM that you are trying to locate old friends. My name came up while I was talking with my uncle George Matar.I have read some of your poetry and was quite impressed. I do apologise if I sound ignorant but I have to know if we have crossed path. I am 39 yrs. old, during the summer we lived on Birj Dahdouh above the hotel FONTANA. I left Lebanon on july 15, 1978. I am looking forward to your reply

Hi, I must confess, I'm not a great poetry reader, but signing your guest book shows that I read the whole poet and saw the 'Sign' button. I wouldn't have got there if I didn't like what I was reading. I read your entry in the Shweir guest book. Miss Hayat is one of my favorite teachers. She taught me english, history and geography at the 'College des Saints-Coeurs' in Shweir. I bookmarked your page, so keep writing nice poems and I'll keep reading them. Send my regards to Miss Hayat and family. Keep up the good work. Ghassan.

Such a beautiful and GRaceful Poem, I love it. I also love the music you selected for it "Chicago's As time goes by". It was popular when I was a kid. I mentioned your name to my brother Nabil and he immediately knew you, He worked with your dad in Baabda, actually it was your dad that hired him. Any way, I will read the rest of you poems at a later day, or maybe we will creat a link to it from our page. Keep up the beautiful writing, God know we need more like you. God Bless George Matar
