A man weeps, his mind's eye...
Sees the passing tribute of her sigh...
She hears the music of his soul...
The rhythm of his ocean's roll...

The grace of friendship.. hearts entwined...
The sense of oneness with your kind...
  Pious passion, great intent...
Great minds only, could consent...

His eyes held her tear enshrined...
As wine traveled the corners of his mind...
She shifts...rain threatens now to pour...
As exiled dreams return to shore...

Such is fate..they conjugate, then; sedate
A storm that would soon abate...
Stricken from the throne of time...
They fall swift..from heights .. sublime...

Outside.. bells in churches softly chime
And raindrops echo a lover's rhyme
